Where your plumbing is and the size of space will help to narrow down the choices of toilets you can use. If you are building a new bathroom, you can choose any style of toilet. Also consider the different types of pan type: S-trap toilet and a P-trap toilet.

Toilets vary in the amount of water they save when flushed. A standard toilet flushes at a rate of 1.6 gallons per flush (gpf). Consider a water efficient toilet, which flushes at a rate of 1.28 gpf. Also offered are dual-flush toilets which uses less water for liquid versus solid.

Choose The Right Design For Your Bathroom

There are many different types of styles and configurations of toilets. It is important to select the right configuration so that your bathroom will have the right look and feel. Ensure to choose the right toilet depending on your desired bathroom which could be a more contemporary look versus a traditional look.
